DEPARTMENT OF IMMUNOLOGY, GRADUATE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, CHIBA UNIVERSITY

Dear friends,

You may know that we had a huge earthquake on Friday in the afternoon on March 11th. Since then, many friends have sent us e-mails to ask whether we are OK. Fortunately, our lab peoples are OK and our lab had little damage. Thank you very much for your warm-hearted consideration! We are still very worried about friends and peoples in Tohoku area. In addition, we do hope that the nuclear power plants are stabilized soon. We have faced the shortage of the electricity that may continue for the next few months, and limited train service in downtown Tokyo and Chiba area, but these can be handled relatively easily. We do hope that the rest of the springs is full of better things in Tohoku area. Again, thank you very much for your consideration.
